Mental Health

While some experience it more severely than others, many people are exposed to mental illness at some point in their lives especially in our overstimulated era. They can make one feel worthless, angry, or even overly excited, affecting one’s day-today life.

With proper care and treatment from a mental health professional, one can learn to cope.

What are the treatment options?

There is a stigma around mental health, especially when it comes to seeking treatment. Commonly, a loved one has to intervene and make the suggestion to seek treatment.

What are the signs you should look for?

If you or someone you know is in crisis now, seek help immediately. Call 1-800-273-TALK (8255) to reach a 24-hour crisis center or dial 911 for an emergency operator.
